Anna Ogilvy hasn’t opened her eyes for four years

Not since that night at The Farm when she was found asleep with a kitchen knife in her hand, her clothes bloodstained, the bodies of her two best friends lying close.

She’d committed the crime of the century – but nothing and no-one could wake her from the nightmare.

Believers in her innocence call her Anna O. Believers in her guilt call her Sleeping Beauty.

But no-one can take their eyes off the story . . .

Anna O is Anna OHMG!

Stop what you are doing and read this book! Here are my reasons why:
* Short chapters that end, mostly, on cliff hangers (just one more chapter never felt so good)
* Multiple person narrators - mainly from Anna O's diary (so her voice), Dr Benedict Prince (yes, I did picture him as Benedict Cumberbatch), Anna's mother and few more. This is always interesting because who do you believe and who is lying?
* The psychology of sleep including sleepwalking - don't you love it when you can learn from a novel?
* London Baby! It's set in London so if you've ever visited that glorious city, the places will feel familiar to you. (This is just a bonus.)

A quick summary of the story... Anna Ogilvy has been in a deep sleep for 4 years after she allegedly stabbed and murdered her 2 colleagues in a frenzied attack. Anna has a history of sleepwalking and sleep disorders, so for psychiatrists, her deep sleep is not a surprise and they diagnose her with Resignation Syndrome. The press and public call he "Sleeping Beauty." But the Department of Justice wants to wake Anna up so that she can stand trial for murder. And Dr Prince is chosen to rouse her from unconsciousness.

But will Dr Prince - Ben - be able to succeed? Will Anna remember the incident? Will she tell her story? Does anyone else have anything to hide? Did Anna murder her colleagues? And if Dr Prince does wake her up, will he hand the case over to the DOJ or will he become so involved in the case that he won't be objective anymore?

‘Sleep.
Those little slices of death....’ Edgar Allan Poe
